We're having a good visit

Well, we're having a great visit with my parents. My boys were so excited to see their Grandma and Grandpa after about a year and a half. We've been doing all the tourist things in town.

But, I think what they are really enjoying is Tess. Grandma and Grandpa brought their dog. We're of course, not used to a small dog in the house, so we're having a great time with her!
Look at this face!

She's so cute! I got this picture of her running in the back yard. Her ears flop up and down when she runs, and I happened to get this one when her ears were up. I'll never be able to do that again.

So, here's the boys with Grandma and Grandpa. Of course, once again, the oldest looks less than enthusiastic. I'm telling all you younger moms out there...take lots of pictures now, cause someday they'll be a "tween" and won't want their picture taken!

Now that I look at it, Shane's the only one who looks like he doesn't mind getting the picture taken...

Glad your parents are over! That dog is so cute - love the floppy ears. Is she getting along with your dog? I heard that when there's two dogs in the house, there's usually a "Top Dog" - but since they don't normally live together, do they get along?

Janice, they are getting along to an extent. We keep having to break things up, but only because my big loveable lab keeps wanting to "play" with Tess, and she's so small, I think she's like, "not in a million years, big dog" and we have to stop them. But, after we stop them, the "coexist" quite fine. It's quite fun to watch, though! So, in reality, I think the little dog is the "top dog". Because, my dog just wants to play, but she doesn't, and she wins! Yeah for the "little guy".

you are right- i loved the fact you wrote hubby on my blog instead of fiance or boyfriend. I never really got the hang of saying fiance... always accidentally said boyfriend but this hubby word seemed to sink in quite easily!!!
