Sorry it's been so long....
I just have not posted like I should have in the last few weeks. I haven't even checked everyone else's posts as religiously as I should be. I'm just going through one of those phases...do you want to hear about it? I knew that you would.
1. Working at the library is going ok. The one part that is difficult for me is all the young mommies coming in with their little pre-schoolers. I just look at them having such a great time, and think, wow, where did the time go?
2. OK, so the first day of middle school was Tuesday. On the way there, I thought Theron was going to hyper-ventilate in the back seat. He said he had a stomach ache the entire day. His locker won't open. He's late to class because of it. He knows nobody, and is tooooooo shy to talk to anybody. So, I said, "do you want to homeschool again?" To which he quickly answered, "NO!" So, that made me feel good about his past homeschooling experience! So today was the first day he had to ride his bike home instead of me driving him. He was very upset about this. He did not want to do it. But, he did it, and he said it wasn't that bad.
So, since his school starts at 7:25, and his locker won't open, I have to have him there at 7:00 a.m.! Hello.... Seriously? Are you kidding me? Some of the mom's are even showered and have make up on! Obviously that's other moms and not me! So, I am trying to get used to this new schedule, and trying to go to bed early, which is not easy. While D was gone, I would stay up until 1:00 a.m., because that's when we could talk. After all, I could take a nap if I wanted to the next day. So, now, trying to go to bed early is hard. Even if I'm tired, I just can't fall asleep that early!
I've now been trying to load pictures for a half an hour, and it won't let me. Ugh. I didn't want to have a "pictureless" post, but apparently I will. So, maybe my next post will be better. Nobody likes a whining blogger. This was a whining post. Sorry. Please forgive me.
When does fall come? When does the new TV schedule start? Oh, sorry, I wasn't going to whine. I'll go now.

I'll see if I can find some cheese to put on my post to go with it.
That said, Theron had the guts to go and report his locker before we told him it would be good to do that. I'm proud of him.
Fall's just around the corner...after your B-day.
Everybody is allowed to have the whining/venting posts every now and then! Heck, a few times I have wanted to get on here and whine/complain, but I"m not sure who all is reading my blog, so I opt not to post. As time goes by, Theron will absolutely feel more comfortable at school with SEVERAL friends....and he'll love it! Nick had the same problem when we switched him to a brand new school (where he knew nobody) at semester break last year. But now he is thriving there and loves it! It's a good experience for Theron right now and things can only get better for him! I'm proud of him!
P.S. I'm ready for Fall too!
You and I are both night owls! I cannot seem to go to bed until about 1:30am and even if I went to bed early I would toss and turn for about an hour before sleeping. It's ok to whine - this is your blog and you can say whatever you want :-).
I have no idea how you and other moms out there with school age kids do it when it comes to getting your kids ready for school! I have a couple more years before Cameron goes but I'm already getting nervous.
Theron is going to do well in Middle School! :-)
Okay, so I'm one of those people that is in bed at 9 something. Sometimes, I pretend I'm going to read a book for a little while, but have been known to be out by 8:30.
I admire you night people who can still get up the next day!!
Glad to hear Theron reported his locker problem...how grown-up of him!
I hear ya. I have a hard time getting to bed by 11:30, and school is just around the corner. Yikes!! I have to have them up, and ready, and at the bus stop around 8. Hey, at least I get one more hour of sleep than you do - that should make getting up easier!! Thanks for that...
I'm glad working at the library is OK. I know of several friends (actually blogging fiends - just met through blogging) who are going back full time to work force from being a stay at home mom. I bought a book today about Christian Working moms - I'll post something this week...
OH... middle school. A time of learning a growing.... to both child and mom ;)
i hear ya about fall! let's all take a vacation until then....
You really got me on #1! I am already saying that and Aubree isn't even 2 yet!
Since this is your blog, I think it's okay to do some whining. We all need to do that once in a while. Hope this week gets a little smoother for you guys. Theron will be an old pro in about a month. Middle school is a HUGE step, but he will do great.
Okay it getting so long again!!
Busy? I am assuming you are ;)
